ACUPUNCTURE SERVICES
The visit will be a thorough examination that includes a treatment. It is 1-1/2 hours long, so plan your visit that you do not have any conflicts with the scheduled appointment time. It comprise of health history assessment, examining the areas of concerns, the tongue, and checking your pulse. Fine hair thin needles are placed at specific locations. Upon insertion, there may be a momentary sharp or stinging sensation, some report not feeling anything. Treatment plan will be discussed at the end of your session.
NATUROPATHIC SERVICES
The visit is comparable to a doctor's office, but more thorough. You will spend 1-1/2 hours with the doctor discussing your health concerns and your previous diagnoses. Please plan accordingly and not book another appointment at the same time. Come as you are, wear loose clothing if your limbs (i.e., legs, arms) need to be examined. A thorough health history assessment will be taken along with examining the areas of concerns, and a personalized treatment plan is created for you.

If your appointment is for the free 15-minute Meet and Greet, then come as you are. This is a mini consultation to figure out if our clinic services and your needs are a good fit. This is a visit for information only to see if we can help you.
If your appointment is for the consultation and treatment:

inform us of any mobility issues (there are steps/stairs to the office)

wear loose fitting clothes (t-shirt or tank top), shorts (to have access to your limbs for the treatment)

eat a light meal or snack before treatment

bring a small bottle of water to drink after treatment
Please fill out your paperwork when you receive them via email, no later than 48 hours before your INITIAL appointment. The sooner, the better for you and the office, so they can prepare for your appointment.
We ask for 48-hours cancellation notice. Please be mindful that we are preparing for your appointment and show up for you. Yes, you will be charged a fee if it is less than 48 hours and you do not let us know. Please connect with us, as soon as you know. You can also cancel online on the Patient Portal and reschedule.
No. Please plan your arrival with your travel time from your location to our office in Kahului, adding extra time for traffic. We allow 10 minutes late arrival. If it is more than 10 minutes, we kindly ask that you reschedule. If you arrive late (i.e., 10 minutes), this will shorten your appointment time (adding your late arrival as part of your appointment time). Please have your paperwork ready and filled out for us when you receive them via email so the doctor can review them with you at your appointment.
No, we do not at this time. We are a private clinic practice, which means we are out-of-network with insurance. We can provide you a Superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you request one.
We accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard and HSA. We require payment at time of service after your appointment.
